Well the Cotton gets the highest ranked G5 conference winner so it looks like Kirby is going to have a loss due to lack of interest regardless. SMU beating UGA in the Cotton would be too funny.

Good lord, that looks like some craptastic matchups right there - for two of the premier bowls in the country.
I agree to some extent but personally rather see opponents you don't see. I wouldn't mind Baylor for that reason, rather them than Notre Dame that we've played them a couple of times in recent years. LSU has never played Michigan so that's my most desired matchup (outside playoffs). Worst opponent would be Texas since we played them and will again next season.

God, getting matched up with Appalachian State in a bowl game would be the most Georgia thing ever. I still haven't forgiven them for matching us up with Hawaii and Southern California with Illinois back in 2008 I think it was. A Georgia-USC game that year would have been pretty awesome

Whoever wins between Baylor and uterus will play OU in the championship. Baylor will beat TCU and Kansas.

Maybe you are right. But Baylor has to play someone. I mean, they were the greatest show on turf a few years ago. Art Briles (scumbag rapist apologist that he was) had the Bears scoring a ton of points. Matt Rhule is winning by defense these days. But they seem to be legit these days.
