Reich thoroughly outcoached Quinn with a far less talented roster.
This is bullshite.

Mediocre team, same as last year.
I hate the fact that they come out completely unprepared and sleepwalking through the 1st half.
Cannot believe professional athletes don't come prepared and ready to play.

still expected them to be 2-2 in my original season predictions, so as long as we win next week to stay undefeated at home while cleaning up this penalty bullshite, then I'll feel ok. Ryan's performance in the second half gives me hope that he has finally knocked the rust off.

Meanwhile the Saints beat 2-0 Seattle with Teddy Bridgewater at QB.
Sorry about your ban on ST though.

This has been a theme dating back to mike smith. Look like a SB team occasionally and total shite on other occasions.

Dan Quinn's teams usually work themselves into a lather... I think he, and everyone knows that their starting efforts are pathetic and that anything short of a deep playoff run gets a lot of people fired.
I don't know what to expect of this team, I really don't.
Figured we'd start the year 2-2, but who knows what effort we will see next Sunday.
All I know is, you need to show up to the LA & Seattle homestand no worse than 3-3.
Our schedule is relentless the first half of the season. I think everyone knew that going in.
The goal should be, get to "halftime" of the season at 5-3. The absolute baseline is 4-4. From there, you've got your division slate.
This team kind of reminds me of that 2010,2011, 2012 version of the Falcons where, I think on talent alone - this team will go 7-1 or even 8-0 at home, snag 2 cheap ones on the road and hit the playoffs at 10-6.
I don't think we are a Super Bowl team by any means, but provided Neal is the only big injury we suffer, the sense of urgency should push us to those levels.

I wouldn't say we are far more talented. With Luck, Indy was going to be a SB contender. Reich is considered a top tier coach by many and he absolutely outcoached Quinn.
ETA the defense being absolute dogshit has to be the most disappointing thing about yesterday. INDY even lost their best player and we still didn't manage to stop them.

Indianapolis might have the best roster in the league outside of QB. That is a loaded team who would have been my Super Bowl pick if Luck hadn't retired.

I don't follow the NFL much outside the Falcons since I spend so much time and energy soaking in MLB and the Braves, so I had wrongfully assumed that we could pencil in Indy as a win once Luck decided to retire. boy was that wrong.
even with all that, we likely win by at least 7 if not for the idiotic penalties.
