And? That’s standard. The expectation is three years.
UGA assumed all of the risk and how did he repay them? He attempted to drag the school through the mud on his way out after using them for all he could before leaving.
Dude is a bitch.

Exactly it’s a one year work agreement basically. Coaches can and do pull them.
Look folks let’s put this in adult terms. He got a promotion to go to another company which is similar. Anyone ever left a job because they that the grass was greener on the other side? That’s all he did. Not saying he’s going to be son in law of the year because I don’t know the kid but I can’t blame him.He was a backup at a CFP contender and he went to be a starter at another CFP contender.
If I got triggered every time a kid left Clemson for more playing time I would be so fricked up I would pet my wife and kiss my dog when I went home.
ETA: Yeah UGA assumed all the risk but all colleges do that. Schools have no idea if a 18 year old is going to pan out. Kid might not be as good as thought, might be lazy, might get in trouble, homesick they don’t know. Happens all the time

This analogy is so fricking dumb. Quit using it.

Why is it dumb? He has a choice. He didn’t hold out like a pro athlete on a contract. I don’t agree with how it all when down but it’s his choice.

It was completely blown out of proportion by Fields so he could manipulate the situation because he couldn’t beat out Fromm.
And the weird thing is
Fields > Fromm

Well. Actually. Fields has never publicly said anything but absolutely positive things..
Most think he used the comments as a reason for the appeal. However those are confidential and are not and cannot be released.
UGA nor Fields or his representatives ever.. Not Once mentioned the ... comments as the reason for the appeal...
Just us UGA fans and the media... without proof.... it is US who have drug our own name through the mud.

Sorry you fell to QB2 behind a future NFL starter. That you KNEW was only a year above you.
No need to create racist bs if you don’t have the guts to continue to fight for a spot, which would’ve been two years max, and possibly sooner had UGA opted for Fields and Fromm had grad transferred.
But no, he took the easy way out. Created some dramatic BS to be immediately eligible at a school he probably should’ve gone to from the first place.
Overall: seems like he’s a selfish person with poor decision making skills.
Haven’t been a fan since I first saw him and his helicopter pilot of a dad “Pablo” on QB1. Arrogant as hell.

We get it... the black kid didn't "know his place".

Why does his dad get bad rap off qb1?
Dude went to games like the other dad's from what I saw
The Kentucky kids dad was on the sideline but J Fields dad was overbearing?

This is the new CFB. Transfers every year will be like free agency - no more multiple 5* QB’s on the same team. Kids that don’t play will transfer, and coaches should recruit accordingly

Maybe, but in countless tries last year as a freshman he wasn't. He wasn't the best option for UGA to win in 2018 so he didn't play much. He thought he could be the guy for someone in 2019 instead beating out Fromm this year or waiting until 2020.
So I don't know what you or anyone else that keeps repeating this expected Kirby or UGA to do.
