Spencer rattler is already a better QB than Jalen Hurts. Dude is gonna be scary next year.

A lot of QB are better than Hurts. The dude is very limited throwing the ball.

This begs the question though, why are you starting Hurts if your other guy is better?

A lot of our freshmen have been standing out, particularly the receivers. Treylon Burks made this nice one-handed snag. Guy is probably going to be a monster at 230 pounds, people say he could be the best athlete from Arkansas since McFadden and if he didn't tear his ACL his senior year might have been a 5-star. Freshman QB KJ Jefferson has also looked really smooth. Defense has dominated though and gotten a lot of turnovers. QB battle is still wide open, best QB from last weekend's scrimmage was surprisingly John Stephen Jones.

Everyone is great. Team looks fantastic. Every player dominating. SEC fricked. Same thing that comes out of every team’s camp.

I follow him on Instagram and he was working all summer at different facilities improving his technique in coverage so to hear he’s improved doesn’t surprise me much I seen him do it tho whole time they were on break

TE Baylor Cupp breaking a bone in his leg or ankle is the biggest news so far out of the A&M camp, I'd say.

The Ags operated out of 2 TE sets from time to time every game last year. So that 12 personnel grouping may not continue this year, depending on whether at least 2 of Beal, Wydermeyer and Horry are up to it.

Otherwise, nothing seems to have happened to cause them to really change their approach on offense or defense this year.

WR Kendrick Rogers seems to have some kind of injury causing him to miss almost all of training camp. But since he stays hurt more than he is healthy, I'm not sure we would call that "news."
