I know Paul's a polarizing figure but I have to admit, it's nice having members of the media like him saying things like this about the NCAA.

That’s Paul at his best right there. Mizzou has been great here. They’re not ruining anyone’s season but they’re also not easy to beat.

Florida got hammered back in the day when one of our inside people turned on us. I don't think the penalties are egregious, but the NCAA lets lots of other slide, and that is where is have the problem. 1 year post season ban and 5 scholarships isn't the end of the world, especially when so many players are starting to sit out bowl games anyway.

Finebaum is a buttfricker. His only concern in the world is Alabama. He couldn’t tell you 5 player’s names from any other team in the SEC. He was the worst possible person for ESPN to pick as someone who represents all schools in the SEC

Paul Finebaum being the “face” of the SEC is what is sickening. His show perpetuates the stereotype of the idiot fans of the SEC narrative that the country thinks of when they think of the South. He is a no talent hack that was in the right place at the right time.

Remember he white knighted for Huge Freeze when everyone else in the conference knew he was a sleaze bag. He was too stupid damn ignorant of the fact that Freze lies to his face.

LOL! Actually he hates Alabama and is a huge Tennessee fan from where he graduated. He loved Hugh Freeze since he challenged Alabama and beat them a couple times. He made his bones writing for the old Birmingham Post-Herald and was famous for his daily slanderous digs at Alabama. The Alabama fans hated him and made him a national name resulting from his hatred of Alabama. The paper had imported him from Tenn. to do just that and increase circulation with the Auburn fans and the Bama fans wanting to see what terrible things he had said today. He even started a column and show called "Fussin' With Finebaum" which spread to radio and the rest is history. His whole deal was blastng Alabama til he made friends with the SEC commissioner who put him in business promoting the SEC.

Anyone that thinks Finebum has any love whatsoever for Alabama falls under an old category of my Dad's. "He doesn't know his arse from a hole in the ground."
