Baseball has always gotten the shaft from the NCAA. It’s the only major sport that is treated like an Olympic one.

Why did Texas vote against this? I know why the Big 10 voted against it, because they have wanted the baseball season to start later and are being punitive against schools in the southern rim due to their weather in Feb and March. But Texas, OU and Texas Tech? What is their angle?

The sad part is that it was a voluntary option. You didn’t have to hire a 3rd assistant. You were just given the opportunity if you wanted to. There must be some seriously cheap bastards for AD’s in the big 12
