Feelers were sent out several weeks ago, if the truth were known (that's what agents are for). The AD probably already has initiated contact, and is either waiting for replies, or waiting for particular coaches to no longer be involved in tourney action...this ain't gonna take long once the hammer drops because it benefits ALL parties to have it over with and to be able to move on.

Avery lost the locker room. This whole thing was going in the wrong direction.

I wasn't all that opposed to him being around another year. Losing to the 32nd seed in the NIT changed my mind.
