Justin Herbert is staying at Orgeon another year. I don’t know where Drew goes and if he would have been higher than Herbert, but he has one less competitor for more money. A lot more money.

I don't know why but I still think he has a chance to go 1st overall.

The type of arm talent he has usually is attached to morons or misfits like Jeff George or Jay Cutler. I can't imagine any other quarterback in this or any other class coming across as more eager to please and learn than Lock, so his stock will only go up during the Combine and team workout and interview phase. Then all it takes is one team to fall in love.

Good for Drew. Hopefully he puts an exclaimation point on his season and career Monday afternoon.

I think Lock's biggest issue is if Haskins declares (he might have already), as he has the same arm talent and athletic profile, but has the big games thar Lock doesn't.

Gabbert had this kind of arm. But I like Lock's overall QB play better, and being in Dooley's offense for a year should have him better prepared for NFL than Gabbert was.

Gabbert had a very strong arm but I don’t think it is quite as good as Drew’s. He certainly never had the same deep ball touch

I would be happy to be wrong but Drew ain't going #1 overall. He'll show well in his scripted pro day throws and he'll likely go 1st round, just not 1st overall.

Gabbert had a strong arm but Lock can hit a receiver on a dead run in the chest over a defenders hands 50 yds downfield. and yeah 1st overall is a stretch, and he needs a year of seasoning, but he's gonna be legit

The speed of his post snap assesment and ball placement in the condensed part of the field are what teams are going to scrutinize. There are 4 years of tape showing him making a lot of the same mistakes vs simple coverage disguises. Missing a rotating safety with a late throw over the middle will be punished in the league. Those are the warts on his game that he is going to have explain in his interviews.

He isn't going 1 overall.

I put him at the bottom of the first round, Saints/Patriots/Chargers, maybe even the Vikings.

Denver is a possibility but I personally think Will Grier is a better qb. Lock needs to sit.

Raiders with the Dallas pick. Sits for a year then the Raiders can move on from Carr without a cap hit.

The later he goes the better imo. For his own sake.

The Giants are a cluster frick with a still shitty oline. He will get battered. Jags are a mess. And a terrible place to live.

Chargers would be a sweet deal. Sitting behind Brees would be nice. Denver wouldn’t be terrible.

Grier is better in the sense he has much more pocket mobility imo.

He also played in the no D league.

Lock could have gone for 5K and 50 in that shitty conference.

I saw some stuff this morning where Atlanta is looking at their back-up QB situation, behind Ryan. I don't see Lock starting next year, at least not anywhere outside the State of Ohio.

Because Lock grew up in the KCMO area, I think he'd have to hold his nose to sign with any team in the AFC West, especially Oakland.

No way Hotlanta signs a first round QB after that monster deal Ryan got.

Tampa might wanna move on from the Shameis Winston saga after this year though.

The only thing he will be holding is the pen when he signs the contract. Childhood fandom goes out the window when compared to millions of dollars.
