I have family there. Before you move ask me where to live. Some of it has become ghetto since Katrina. The crime in some places that used to be low has risen a lot. It’s a neat city, just have to know where to live. Great restaurants etc and the LSU fans there are not as bad as you think. They love their team but 95% of them will invite you over for a grill and beer.

Louisiana isn’t great. But let’s be clear, neither is Kentucky. East KY is one of the worst places in the United States. I unfortunately have to visit often.
