Zero tackles for Natrez

He kept AP from recovering the poor pitch by Oatsvall and I thoought he was in on at least 1 tackle but I guess not

If you play inside LB, how can both of these statements be true? He sure wasn't doing a lot of pass coverage and breaking up a bunch of passes to backs and TEs.

Natrez seems a little slow but then again it's easy to compare people to Roquan. Doesn't seem like he's going to be making tons of plays all over the place but I guess he brings size and senior leadership...

The coaches know more than I do, but I sometimes wonder if he's playing the wrong position.

Against power running teams that like to run it between the tackles, he's a good option to have inside because of his size. He looks the part of the ideal 3-4 ILB that Kirby had at Alabama. However, with so many spread offenses in CFB today, your MLB has to make open-field tackles in space and be able to run plays down from sideline-to-sideline. I don't think he's shown that he can consistently do that.

I just hope he's improved and able to make an impact in his final season.

Guys like Roquan come along like once a decade.

Natrez is a leader in that he knows our D and he has been around awhile, played with the likes of Roquan and understands CKS and CMT and what they want...that is very valuable.

Wish everybody would stop panicking about the absence of Roquan. "By Committee" is how many, many successful teams operate...you won't always have that one guy.

I saw alot of raw potential from the D we fielded Saturday...just needs to be harnessed. D line looked especially stout imho.

I agree. Walker played a fricking horrible game. My only hope is that it was reported that UGA was game planning USC 2 week’s before and the week of Austin Peay. Maybe he got confused on stuff he hasn’t seen since the coaches were getting ready for USC instead of focusing on the opener but, either way, Walker looked like shite.
