The head of Disney for buying them and crapping them out. Not sure I hate Piggy as much as she is shrill, but who here does not like eating bacon?

Cop out name one or a group
Hell you could’ve named the Fraggles even
Fragile Rock GOAT HBO show. Close second is NNTN especially when Sniglets were on

Best of the Muppets was the 1st year of SNL in the 70's when they had the adult muppets as a running skit. It was yanked later on as the Muppets became kid friendly with their success on Sesame Street.
The premise of The Land of Gorch featured Muppet characters, who were members of a royal family, in a faraway locale. They behaved boorishly and made frequent references to drug abuse, sexual innuendo, and consumption of alcohol. Characters included King Ploobis, Queen Peuta, their son, and servants Scred and Vazh. These characters often consulted their oracle Mighty Favog for advice.
If you ever saw "The Dark Crystal" you would certainly see some of these characters were recycled for that movie.
