I think we all saw this coming. Walters is Odom's guy. For better or worse.

I would have rather gone with someone else.

I was really hoping Mizzou was looking at Brady Hoke.

Hopefully the plan is saving money with Walters to pay more for a good OC.

I’m indifferent on this. He sure didn’t do a great job with our secondary this year, but maybe it was what he had to work with....who knows.

Which means Odom will be calling the Defense. No surprise here so I see no problem with this.

A very status quo pick. But maybe right now status quo is needed.

True, very status quo hire, which is fine when your HC is essentially your DC. But, it means the OC hire needs to move some needles.

I can't remember a secondary coach that wasn't ripped by fans.

It comes with the territory. That's the hardest position on the field and the mistakes are easiest for the common fan to pick out.

No one was taking this job with BO running the D. I’m sure we saved money on him we can use for th OC. Walters is ok.

I'm thinking Finley will be the OC.

Board will melt.

Offense will be great next year.

Finley leaves.

Board will melt.

According to USA Today Mizzou’s staff compensation ranked 21st in college football, so Mizzou hasn’t skimped on paying assistants.

I read that as well, though the perception by others suggests otherwise.
