Assuming of course we get by Bama and UGa, who would we play in the CFP?

For the sake of argument, by getting in with 2 losses, we would likely be #4. So the discussion is about who is #1 at that point. (We could go down a rabbit hole if we consider possibilities where we are #3 or #2, where teams like Ohio State/Bama/UGa could be at #4, so let's ignore those.)

In this scenario, the #1 team will come from the following group:

1) Oklahoma - Toughest match up for AU. Mayfield is accurate and gets the ball out quick. We would put up a ton of points, but would it be enough?

2) Miami - See UGa game.

3) Clemson - Have we improved enough on the OL since September?

4) Wisconsin - Child please.

Against OU, I think we'd be able to stop them more than they could stop us. Their defense is miserable.

We will likely be #3 because Ohio St is probably beating Wisconsin

Let's beat Bama first. That's plenty hard enough for now before even starting to think about That of Which We Shall Not Speak.

In that case:
1) Oklahoma (pulling for TCU upset) (12-1)
2) Clemson (12-1) pulling for Clemson
3) Auburn (11-2)
4) Bama or Miami (11-1 vs. 12-1)

If Oklahoma losses.
1) Clemson (12-1)
2) Auburn (11-2)
3) Miami (12-1)
4) Bama (11-1)

If we were to win out and everything else plays out as expected I see it as...

1. Clemson
2. OU
3. AU
4. Bama
