Not a star power get, but he's certainly got me excited. 6'1" and 220. Bielema wants him at Will, but the kid is evidently really good in coverage.
Good Rivals article on the kid
And hey, anytime you impress Deion Sanders it's got to count for something, right?
His commitment pushes Arkansas up to #18 on the 247 composite team rankings. We will likely take 9 more players this class.

"For a guy his size, he moves tremendously well," Howell said. "He's got great lateral quickness and he's got great ball skills. Whether it's from the safety spot or somewhere else, he jumps routes well, he's really good in coverage, and he's a big physical guy, too. He's not afraid to come down and lay a hit. You're talking about a guy at 6-1, 215 pounds, chances are he's going to get a little bigger at the college level, so he's a linebacker-bigger safety kind of guy with cover skills and that's hard to find."

When Deion Sanders says he's impressed by a prospect, you have to pay attention. 'Prime Time' was on hand for the Rivals Camp in Dallas in March, and after seeing Greenlaw grab four interceptions and break up three more passes on the day, the NFL Hall of Famer walked over to where some of us analysts were standing and wanted to know more about the defensive back out of Fayetteville. Sanders also made it a point to stop Greenlaw during the camp and tell him how impressed he was.

Probably. As much as we need help in the secondary, it just seems unlikely that a guy who's already 6'1 and 220 will stay in the secondary. Given the landscape of college football these days (spread), I guess it's a good thing that we have as many linebackers as possible who have good coverage skills. Time will tell...
I don't know his whole story, but he was "found" by ex-Razorback quality control coach Brian Early years ago. He adopted the kid and everything. He committed to Arkansas State, where Brian actually coaches now. I was impressed with Brian because he told the kid, like most of us would, that he should go where he'd be happy. As cool as it would be to play for your dad (IMO), seems like staying home and playing at the UofA was a better option for him. Good news for us!

As for now, CBB seems to have told him he can play whichever. We really need another 'striker' at safety. Someone along the Hamlin/Atwater mold, which we haven't had in a while. But needing LB's that can cover also.

I got kinda worried when UGA offered him but luckily he was one of the "it's my childhood dream to play for Arkansas" type of guys.
