A bit shocking considering we made the college World Series and are bringing in a top 5 recruiting class. Guess it will give a little extra inspiration to our coaches and players. Weren’t we predicted t finish last in the SEC West last year?

Well 5 Pitchers went to the draft. And so our Lead Off hitter Rambush and Sonny DiChiara.

So I can understand not being ranked.

A lot of unknowns with this team. Fair to not be ranked.

Yea, idk how this team will replace the pitching. The hitting could actually be better considering the freshman and transfers we have coming in. But idk how the pitching staff holds up

Ignoring the obvious Sonny hole, I think this years team will be vastly more talented than last years.

There's less inertia in the baseball polls than football.

As others have said it comes down to the fact we're replacing a lot of production from last year. We're just a wildcard right now.

I wasn’t upset until I saw a mediocre Alabama squad sitting at 20.

Yeah that’s a big head scratcher. They’ve gotten the benefit of the doubt a lot the past pre-seasons only to not meet expectations. Don’t get it.

The college guys still can't really separate from prospect viewing. Other than Irish, we didn't bring in a lot of top prospects. So we lost a ton of production and replaced it with good college players but not top line prospects.

Butch was on a podcast with Jason Caldwell. Good interview he discussed a lot of the expected players.

Sounds like going into spring preseason scrimmages it'll be Gonzo, Allsup as the Friday Saturday starters. Chase Isbell the closer. Clearly all could shake up out of the scrimmages or the first few out of conference series. Got a lot of young arms
