This offense has been hell on wheels for most of the year without these two, but seems like it has been missing the deep vertical attack.

As they creep back from injury and assuming AD is back soon, I can't help but imagine how good this offense could be in the next few weeks...

Anyways, what does the board think? Is a healthy UGA offense (currently #3 total) the best in football? I'm expecting a crisp performance in Starkville tomorrow.

You have to work them back in, not plug and play. Also McConkey can take the top off just as well.

Keeping as healthy as possible is critical these last few games.

Here is to playing 6 more games this year.

All I know is that I have nothing but confidence that CKS and his crew will know how to use our players to get the most out of them and their performance. As much as I loved CMR, I always seemed to have some doubt about whether or not the team would be prepared and ready to play.

One or the other will be hurt for the rest of our games. We aren’t allowed to have both healthy and playing.

I don’t think so. Certainly one of the most efficient though. We also have the luxury of not having to play defenses like ours. I’m excited to see these guys back for sure and should help take some of the pressure off Bowers

CKS said last week that he was "hopeful" he'd get AD back this week, as he started running again. But he changed his tune later in the week. I think he's close, but will probably/hopefully see him next week or against Tech.

As of yesterday he was still listed as questionable

We should keep him rested and bring him back for a few snaps against Tech to knock the rust off (if he's healthy enough). We need our weapons ready to go for the SECCG and/or the playoffs.

I am seeing no AD on the trip to Starkville chatter. I won’t lie, not my place and easy for me to say, but like what the actual f kind of ankle sprain takes you out as long as some knee injuries, or being shot (brian Robinson, nfl), etc.

I know it’s all unique to the player and the staff but I mean. I feel like fragile is the word association that has to come to mind at this point. Again; not trying to bash anyone. I just am pretty baffled

Ever had a high ankle sprain, baw?

You're better off breaking your ankle.

They need to start sending these injury players overseas to get stem cell treatment If they're not going to play for weeks. High ankle springs are no joke I've had one and know the feeling and they do take quite some time but damn they got stated the yard treatment over there what's the problem?

Looks like AD is recovering VERY slowly

DAWGS 247 article on Mitchell

"Kirby Smart was asked Monday about the ankle injury Mitchell has been dealing with, and Smart explained it’s not clear whether or not Mitchell had re-aggravated the original ankle injury"
"As for the path forward, Smart remained uncertain about when Mitchell will be back on the field for the Bulldogs."
“He stayed here [in Athens]. He got extra rehab here, felt like he got a little better rehab here not having to be on it all weekend and during the game. So we're, again, hopeful to get him back this week, but it will be day by day.”
"Smart gave a generic report regarding the health of Mitchell, outside linebacker Robert Beal and offensive linemen Xavier Truss and Amarius Mims last week, saying, "I think AD is probably the furthest behind those guys. He hasn't taken reps, but he's been out there running, doing exercises. The rest of the guys have been repping."
