Now this qualifies as "rich"...coming from a fan of a school which hasn't done squat doodlie in the past bazillion years... how old might you be?

Definitely not me. I had us going 7-5 at best this season. So glad to be a dumbass when it comes to picking wins and losses

“No team that played like LSU did against FSU belongs anywhere near the SECCG or the playoffs. I truly think my local high school could have beaten them. One of the worse showings ever by an SEC team.”
————

Having said that, you must also acknowledge how utterly embarrassing it will be when such a lightweight LSU takes Ga down in the SEC Championship.

No team that pussied out and didn't play their last bowl game has any room to speak about any teams potentially getting into the playoff.

You see, an SEC Championship carries a bunch of weight. You would know that if 4&8 ever made it there.

Side note on the 2005 SECCG game, LSU played without a bye week due to two hurricanes that affected Louisiana within a month of each other, Katrina and Rita. Due to all the disruption and dislocation, players lost something like an average of 20 lbs. each. By the time of SECCG, players were pretty much exhausted by the ordeal. Moffit, the strength and conditioning coach told a friend of mine, the s&c coach at local college, the week before the game that the players had “no legs.” I was told about this comment on the Thursday before the game. And watching the game it was pretty obvious he was right. Whether LSU could or would have won that game had conditions been otherwise we will never know, but I don’t doubt it would have been much more competitive. The 2005 Tigers were a special group.

After the spring game, I thought 11-1 at best, 9-3 at worst, but probably be 10-2 and that Myles would be our QB until he got hurt or Nuss earned his way on the field. Definitely didn't think JD5 would become the QB he has. Never been so happy to be wrong about a QB!

He really has been a revelation for y’all. I thought he would get hurt as much as y’all run him. Props to him.
