I wouldn't say Brassell was a bust, he was playing WR CB PR and KR and was badass at all of them. They just fricked up not making sure he was going to class. But his gameplay was definitely as advertised.

His inability to be even a marginal student prevented him from playing.

Doesn’t matter the cause whether it’s play, arrest or other. If you don’t pan out you’re a bust.

Just a stupidly talented one.

Seems like a lot of potential talent never touched the field at OM. South Panola kids were the ones people remember but there were a lot more in the Orgeron/Nutt eras.

Pat Patterson? I remember seeing him smoking a lot of cigs before/after class in front of Bishop Hall

Zee Mason? Thought he would be dominating Tight End.

Lol I had Houston Nutt for all 4 years while I was at Ole Miss. What an absolute shite show of a program. Players pretty much got away with whatever they wanted. Had Spanish with Allen walker and he’d show up like 20 minutes late everyday and then go to sleep. He made friends with me because I somehow had the teacher’s addition textbook

I was spoiled freshman year with our Sugar bowl win in 2015. It was all downhill after that

You were. I was there the around the same time as Manbearshark and probably before him by a few years (05-10)

Orgeron era was bad bad. Sat through some really shitty seasons of 11:30 AM kickoffs and laughable SEC w/l record. Made for some extremely hammered afternoons in the grove after everyone dipped out the game.

Snoop is a good example of someone who would've benefitted from going to Alabama or something. He needed to get away from Batesville.

Would've missed the birthday bash if he went to Bama
