I shared it on Bo thread but it got drowned out by other developments.
JSS told The Drive (radio) that he’s exploring possibly coming back. He is giving up baseball and will be concentrating on football.
This would be his fifth or sixth year on the plains. I have to think he is paying attention to new OC hire and Bo’s plans.

He's been solid this year with Bo. TJ didn't look his way as often.

I think he comes back and could work his way into a draft pick. He’s got really good hands - that catch Saturday he tipped to himself was incredible

That’s why I don’t think the NFL will ever be in the cards for him. He doesn’t have elite measurables nor great at blocking. If he wants to come back I’ll be happy to have him. TE position should be easy to coach.

There was some plays Saturday where he just straight up looked like he didn’t want to block

This is how I see him too.
Just won’t ever fit the measurables for the NFL but he’s really good as a WR.
His blocking hurt us at times.
And we have very good TEs with one on the way I still hope.

We still have Fromm, Deal, Frazier, King, and Riley-Ducker coming in.
Somehow we've recruited the TE spot very well

Outside of QB, the staff has done a pretty good job of recruiting guys already in the program to stick around. Shenk, Tank, Wooden, and Hall are all huge coming back for next year

I don’t have a problem with that. He may be 6’7” but he was not strong in his upper body or his hands. I saw in some practice film drop some balls if he was hit any.
If Shenker comes back we have hands and would like too more from Fromm and the Freshman Decker. Not sure how they’ll use King who is athletic.
