Kittley is my personal preference. Young, modern, and southern ties. He’s not perfect but I think he’s definitely worth a swing.

Mark Murphy seems to be implying it's Hill

I don’t like it.

It’s boring. It’s meh. He’s a West Coast guy with no ties around here. It’s not a splash to help recruiting, either.

Which, if anyone is keeping up, sucks right now. The class sucks. There’s no way to sugar coat it. Drew Bobo is about to decommit, leaving 12 total commits. Tre Donaldson is iffy in regards to football, so we have 11 total guys cemented in.

I’m hoping for a better OC.

So all of our backs would be in the portal, we don't have the personnel to run Air Raid with HUNH. Hard on the D and when it isn't working...you get what UTSA is doing to them. But when it is on it does what MSU did to us.

However, with the Utes O it is balanced uses TEs and can keep you in the game.

Sorry, I don't make the news.

When AU's most conservative and precise reporter puts it out there I'm taking it to the bank

I’m torn between Ludwig or McGee. Hill is underwhelming IMO

I still say that Harsin didn’t fire Bobo to go out and hire Bobo 2.0. Surely he’s not that dumb.

To me it's just more of Harsin betting on himself. If it pays off, great. But we're getting farther and farther away from what's orthodox for big time SEC programs, and I think it makes sense to be uncomfortable about it.

And it's not like it's Mike Leach unorthodox. It's "let's get uninspired coordinators and not worry about recruiting and see if that works" unorthodox.

How many times have you watched him call a game?

I want Grimes or McGee. Let McGee call Harsin’s plays or give Grimes control. No thanks on air raid and no frickING thanks on another west coast guy who isn’t a recruiter. Harsin would be digging his own grave, you aren’t going to outscheme Saban or Smart with mid level 3 stars.

And I can tell you right now, that shite won’t work. If we recruit this bad every year, this will go beyond him even being fired. Auburn will be one of the least talented teams in the SEC.

Obviously there’s still time to salvage this class, but we are running out of time.

I actually think the class will close strong. Then CBH will have a little license to show some promise on the field. I've not given up on this staff at all, but we're sort of putting all our eggs in the tough nose Harsin plan basket. But then so is he.

Oh, and it's done and dusted. Welcome Zak.

Only a couple times. The point is he would be Bobo 2.0 in that he will have an average offense, zero recruits will be excited to play for him. We need a spark badly.

And recruits have seen him less than me. You sure are white knighting hard for someone nobody wants. Why is that? What makes you think Hill will coach or recruit better than Bobo did?

I'm just not buying it. He would have already hired the dude. ASU has no games. I know the rumor is AU has to "vet" him, but I don't buy that either. If they did vet him, they would have done it a lot quicker.

I want Grimes, but it likely won't happen.

Next on the list would be Ludwig.

Hill and Kittley are about equal for me.

Same. Whoever it is has options to weigh probably. Nobody wants Hill. He would’ve already jumped.
