Does accepting a mediocre bowl appearance do anything for this team except allow the underclassmen an opportunity to get experience? Nothing to gain here but another L vs a directional school.

The extra practice matters. If the coaches use it properly.

You get 4 additional weeks of practice. So yes, it is worth it.

Frank, the extra practice is worth the bowl. Plus kids may like going.

TJ Finley and his OL need all the extra practice they can get.

The fact you have to ask tells me you shouldn’t be commenting on the state of the football program.

The fact that you think getting reps with two coordinators that will not be here next season is comical... secondly Finley had proven he isn’t going to be a serviceable QB. The best we can hope for is Nix coming back and to develop incoming freshmen

Seems like declining a bowl game would be a great way to instill a quitters mentality to your team. That’s just what a team that has struggled to finish games needs. Things not going your way? Take your ball and go home.

Are you saying he can’t transfer with immediate eligibility?

I don’t know if you heard the interview yesterday but he didn’t actually say he would be back

Yeah, he said something to the effect of "we'll make that decision later".

Yeah, you’re not very bright. Like I said, you shouldn’t be commenting on anything about football matters except sharing the score and making sammiches for your buddies.

Everybody says this but has anyone specifically demonstrated why it helps?

What do the players not know after an entire season of practices?

All of those Gus bowl practices really helped the W vs L column the next year...

I get what you said ....

But, this is the SEC. You have to accept your bowl bid. The Bama fans in SEC Headquarters need a bigger bonus check.

Odds are that a person wears an Auburn shirt ....they went to Auburn.

When a bammer wears a bammer shirt, they bought it at Wal Mart or a Thrift Store.
