Tim Cook fires the team up
Pretty cool to have that kind of person of influence representing AU. I hope they are building an app that will make Bama players twice as slow and weak because other than that I don’t think it’ll help, but it’s cool for our guys to see the kind of influence Auburn has in the world.

Unless he's writing NIL checks I don't think he's helping too much but good on him for trying.

This. Pep talks don't help build the program. Until Cook puts his money (of which he has waaaaay more than enough to help support AU) where his mouth is, I don't really care.

Yep. Cook could be Auburn’s Phil Knight, and more importantly, take the power away from other money men who have been dragging the program down.

Could you imagine with a Tim Cook NIL or Apple sponsorship how much AU could do.

Interesting note regarding this. I was in school as we transitioned from Barfield to Dye. I was doing a project for alumni and I was at the alumni office of the university.
Im certain is changed drastically now with privacy laws and the computerization of everything. But back then you could look through these books with the ole computer hole punch paper (you ole guys remember those).
There was a big difference in the last couple of years in donors to the individual schools and the total amounts being collected by each school (ie engineering, business, etc.).
The fella helping me out explained it to me. He said he said as the football program improved, more alumni got interested, and those who were interested became more interested. The number of donations and the amounts improved to most of the schools. He said he had spoken with alumni about this and many felt the football program and athletics in general had enough funding from revenue of their programs, current boosters, etc. But they were now interested in the Auburn again and wanted to give back and thought their school was the best place.
Just shows that even people who dont care for the program, and think football is a waste of time.....they too are getting a halo effect from a good program.
