First of all you’re delusional.

Second, Florida mods just said Napier wanted LSU and was pushing for us, but didn’t get any interest from us, and made the assumption we already had our guy

I don’t think one Gator fan denied this.

Guy lives in LA, is established in LA. Makes good sense he’d wanna stay there if he could but won’t turn down the other pretty girl across town if the one next door shuns him

So what you’re saying is Napier chose Florida over LSU?

If Florida is the pretty girl across town your standards are too low

Cmon man, he posted a reasonable message and you respond with an insult? We all know Florida is a great program.

LSU is the better choice imo, strictly based off football coaching. LSU has a great football culture with a richly talented football state, with no rival in the state. What it comes down to for a lot of coaches and their families, is where you want to live. Honestly, if I had my choice between Baton Rouge, and any other place offering as much money, I’d choose living in the other place.

Is Billy Napier really in a position to be choosy with which elite program he wants to coach?

No troll. Just can’t imagine he has that much juice

Can’t be
According to this board LSU isn’t taking his calls

Realistically no one knows what Scott Woodward is doing and he will announce a hire when it is appropriate the rest is just speculation by people without knowing of the situation

No. Just the opposite. Napier wanted LSU, sought out the HC position, and LSU showed no interest.

Re-read OP as if he’s an LSU fan.

Whichever ends up with Napier gets a damn solid coach, may not be the hottest name out there right now but he's got a great ceiling and he's young.

If he turns out to be a stud HC, wherever he lands will have a good one for 10+ years

Just shows what a pitiful candidate pool it is out there. Napier is a good coach, but people are acting like they're competing for a head coach that has a couple of nattys in his back pocket instead of a solid mid major coach.
