This is how I see everyone calling for him to be fired or move on.

Fire Kendall!

LOL nice. Yeah, KJ is our best QB since Mallett and we have an awesome offense.

I certainly hope we can hang on to KB for one more year at least.

I’d keep Odom also…but personally feel like Briles is more critical. KJ doesn’t need a new OC just as he starts getting comfy with the system.

I wouldn’t want him fired, but he sure comes off with some incredibly shitty play calls at the worst times. Part of Petrino’s genius was that he ran the ball when everyone knew we were passing, and he passed when everyone knew we were running. He also never called a play for a pass 4 yards behind the LOS on 3rd and 8 against Alabama.

We do have a good offense. I just don’t know how we don’t have a sample size large enough to stay away from the really shitty stuff. Do we not have enough people to tell Briles that we average abou 1.6 YPC on called KJ run plays with no play action or even pulling up the ball to back up the linebackers?

We have a very successful misdirection play early, and never try it again. We have all these short throws, but we never seen to get to the payoff with a fake short throw and double move by a WR. Why?

It's always a shitty call when it doesnt work. If those crazy end around double hand off throws worked he's be a genius...... Remember when McFadden threw his first pass. Like Gus discovered fire

No, it’s shitty when it has an incredibly low chance of success. When you’ve tried a play 30 times, and averaged getting 2 yards on it, why would you ever call it when you need 6 or 8? Just hoping for the best? We could be an exceptional offensive team if we didn’t turn the ball over on downs 6-8 times per game on play calls with a very low chance of success. If you have watched our games, you have to agree.

Love him or hate him, he is at least better than average. We need stability.

His development of KJ warrants him to stay as long as he wants. I personally question his 3rd down play calling sometimes but the offense has produced all year

I don't remember him calling any plays that have never worked over and over and over.

It does make sense it can feel like that given the visuals the offense gives you. But the same looking play maybe to attack a different option or place with the similar looking play. Now whether we've executed those and hit the right route or been on the same page on the field he was in his head....whole other discussion.

You want to see something crazy. Watch the difference in his touch passes from the first couple of games. He's developed a whole new weapon to his game he just flat out didn't have to start the season with.

We’ve had at least 50 half assed QB up the gut run plays that have been stuffed. Maybe 100. There has to be a little delay there. The QB has to at least bring the ball up for a half a second to back the linebackers off. We do neither, and KJ is lucky to get back to the LOS most times. Still calling that play in the 11th game. It’s great against directional schools for the blind, but Alabama, Auburn, LSU, aTm, Ole Miss and Mississippi State eat that shite up.

We pull at least one flim flam double reverse trickeration play per game, but I have yet to see one single well executed screen to a running back all season. We love double reverse handoffs, but I have yet to see a pitch out wide to a running back.

KJ is absolutely night and day from where he started. Early on this season, I didn’t think he was going to be good enough throwing the ball to get us anywhere. Glad I was wrong about that. Briles has done a great job there.

no we haven’t. We might have ran that play 25 times this season. MAYBE

If all of our games are on you tube, I’ll go watch them and let you know exactly when I get to 25/

They definitely are. Get you some clip editing stuff and put together a highlight reel of his best hits if you want.

Well, I’m through the Texass game, and I’m at 11 times. Some were very productive runs against Rice and Texass.

I’ll say some of the gimmicky stuff that people hate Briles for running has been there when we’ve ran it. Watch the reverse to Warren from the Bama game. He might still be running if he doesn’t drop it. Some of the WR passes have been open too, just not executed. Even when they don’t work out, those plays get the defenses attention and a lot of times open up something later in the game

Yeah didn’t gimmicky stuff work against Mississippi state and LSU both? Also I know we run the quarterback a bunch that’s obvious. I was saying we haven’t ran an empty qb power or draw 50 times like ole boy said and I doubt we’ve ran that play 11 times through 2 games.

I think we all just see KJ and we think "Bobby Petrino would have terrorized the SEC with this qb" so we're a little hard on Briles.
