80's coach speak is his forte. He knocks that out of the park.

I did find it interesting that he talked a lot on his responsibility for the coaches to put the players in a position to win. Sounds like he’s not happy with the staff

Yeah looks like the Mason fans are hiding by now. I didn't think Harsin picked the right coordinators but hey that is his short lease.

I knew that this was going to be a rebuilding year. I knew that Gus had left the cubbard bare except for 67 4 star WRs who might have been overrated, 2 1/2 linemen, 15 4 star “athletes” who he put in the defensive backfield, 1 QB, and a Carlson. To me, success was going to be measured not in wins and losses, but in how we competed. At 6-2, I was very pleased with where we were. I figured 8-4 was our floor, giving a big middle finger to those who picked us to finish last. Now, staring a 6-6 season in the face, I am concerned, not by the play calling last night, but by how far we’ve fallen since halftime of the Ole Miss game. That was the start. I was concerned at the aTm game, but that was a good team. I can’t explain the total collapse in the MS or SC games. It’s almost as if the whole thing is rigged, and we were told to lose.

I don’t mind the 4th and 1 play call. I have often wondered about faking the dive and throwing deep to a streaking WR. But, we didn’t really go deep, or have a streaking WR.

Back to my original point, this season I wanted to see a team who was physical and competed every week. One who improved as the season went on. At 6-2, we were that team. At 6-5, it’s obvious that there is something going on behind the scenes. Teams just don’t regress that much unless there is conflict within. Maybe it’s an offense vs defense thing. Maybe it’s a vax vs unvax thing. And, it’s Harsin’s job to fix that. The look on Tank’s face said it all.

I don't know anything but I agree something is up. And looking back it all started when there were the rumors of drug suspensions of 9 players?

He always says “we gotta finish.”

Our guys don’t have the right mindset to “finish.”

ETA: We haven’t had that tough Blue Collar Auburn toughness in quite a while. Tank has it but we need it everywhere.
