yep, and that team was beaten worse by UT than they were last night. At least they didn't quite this year. UGA is now missing 8 of the 17 starters from last year due to injury. It sucks, but those guys were definitely missed last night.

how does a loss to bama THIS YEAR prove that we weren't?

Because you were supposed to carry over your great success from last year to this year.

Dawgs were exposed when they struggled against USC. Then they got whooped by Bama proving that they were a whole lot of hype.

Because I've never seen a team that deserved a shot at the title less, cry so much. You didn't even win your division, and you wanted to be crowned national champ. Maybe if you cry some more we can see a highlight of that awesome Knowshon leap. Obviously, that's more important than winning games.

that answer had absolutely no relevance to the question i posed in any way, shape, or form. again, this year's team is different from last year's, and losing last night does not take away from LAST YEAR at all.

The crying worked for Mr. Meyer the year prior, who due to the public relations machine, jumped from 4 to 2 to get a shot for the title. You guys act like this doesnt happen somewhere every year. You take it personally because had it been effective, it would have bumped LSU. LSU deserved to play for the title, UGA felt they deserved it as well. If Obama loses the election will everyone and their brother call him a crybaby for trying to get votes in the first place?

This is a new year, Bama whipped out butts and we did nothing to stop it. Congrats to them, and the bright side of it, I guess, is that the loss came early and we can hopefully improve during the year.

It was the great miracle wins over Troy and Vandy that really made me a believer last season.

I love how UGA fans will tell you straight to your face that they still don't see anything wrong with this.

If Nebraska had not been allowed to play for the title years prior without winning their conference (they got THUMPED by Colorado by 30 points or so the last game of the season, which is ridiculous), I would whole heartedly agree with the ridiculousness of the argument.

However, the precedent was there, and the swing in the public polls happened the year prior due to a well done campaign. Some arguments used in courts are pretty lame, but if there is some BS case from years prior that backed it, it is the norm.

However, one thing you will enjoy, is that if UGA plays like we did Saturday many times, our argument will be that we should be in the Chick Fil-A bowl, and probably wont be on Sportscenter.

I actually don't care about the conference title bit that much. The rest of UGA's case last year was even worse.

I was busy throwing up in my seat at the stadium, which, I paid $175 each for my son and I to go, which makes it even better. I didnt see what Richt said to try to explain it. I was too busy saying "earmuffs" to my son every thirty seconds.

wasnt really all that rude considering the circumstances. if im coaching a team that is losing to bama 31-0, im telling holly rowe that she's a dirty count and can get the frick out of my way.

there is nothing i hope for more right now than for lsu to get absolutely owned by bama and uga.
