WE has been pretty solid since filling in for Tate

Honestly, he's felt pretty spotty... It's sometimes hard to figure out if it's him or SVPG specifically, but the 2 of them together have given up some pressures without much fight on more than a few occasions.

I don't know if Truss is outright better than WE, but I would like to see him continue to get some burn with the rest of the starting OL to find out before we start mass substituting in the next couple of games.

To be fair to WE, Truss does have the consistent problem of ending up on the ground... seems like he has a real problem with retaining balance when working out in space, even against undersized defenders.

As far as guards go, truss is still better than most in my opinion in space. He is much more athletic than WE in my opinion.

He got flat on his face on an interior block, though. Ended up tripping the tailback. Despite a few blemishes, he appeared significantly better than WE, imo. After all, we accept those same types of blemishes from Shaffer each week (falling flat on his face).

I honestly had put more of that on SVPG but I could very well be wrong. I figured WE was helping with calling the protections.

SVPG needs work on footwork. He tends to get sideways on blocking instead of in front, and quick defenders slide right by him. Noticed that in several games this year.
