And we'll have completed a good, not great season. If we had beaten Auburn then it would have been a great season.

Honestly 8-4 is what I had our ceiling on the year at. That i feel like we should have won a couple more is crazy.

We need to clean up some stuff but man at least we're back to actually playing football games and competing.

Always viewed the Ole Miss game as house money but Auburn at our place as a must win

If we win 8 games this year and people start whining about it they need to see a shrink. Most everyone thought we would be battling USC and Mizzou for the "not Vandy thank God" spot in the SEC.

7 wins with our schedule and depth issues? Pittman is the SEC CotY.

So here’s the thing. If we win out, aggy beets LSU, and Auburn beats Bama, we’ll find ourselves tied for first in the West…with 5 other teams. Let’s fricking go

Ole Miss has to lose out. They aren’t losing to Vandy

This will almost certainly not happen... but who the hell thought we would still be in the race for the SEC West going into the last two weeks of the season?

8-4 will be a very good season. Pittman will beef up the OL and DL for next year and you may be going for a 10 win season in 2022.

You don't see a step back because of the Covid Sr's leaving/Depth issues?

I hope you are right, but....

We should be as good or better at every position on the field except for receiver and linebacker(although bumper pool coming back should help there).

I’m worried about this as well. Who do we have at the linebacker position behind bumper?

No idea.

Also no Burks. Even when we don't go to him he commands coverage. Can anyone get open without him or make a big play?

I believe ketron Jackson is going to be a good receiver. Not on burks level but not many are. Hopefully guys like Bryce stephens and Darin turned step up or the freshmen coming in make an impact to help as well.

Pool will be back and Andrew Parker will start. Linebackers from previous classes should see more action.

Oddly enough I feel like we should have beaten OM and Auburn and lost to MSU and LSU. 2-2 between the four is definitely par for the course. I was worried we’d end up 1-3 or 0-4 in those types of games. The real tragedy will be if we allow the Mizzou game to turn into a toss up.

I predicted 7-5. I'd be absolutely thrilled with 8-4 against the #1 SoS in the country.
