MSU. Any thoughts going into the AU game?

I'm thinking "Good Bo" emerges again and AU wins 30-21 or similar. Mason's 3-4/2-gap is taking hold and are now consistient. AU gives up a bunch of yardage but keeps you from scoring to your average. Also, we've run effectively against the 3-3-5 concepts this year, but just not against the meat-suits at UGA and aTm. Plus AU is at home which is +3 points at least. That's about as non-homerish as I can ask.

State is going to score 28. Will it be a 28-17 win or a 38-28 loss? Who knows. States good for 28.

Sounds about right.
The only outcome that would shock me would be State winning by double digits.
Neither team has much to play for at this point, so who knows where their heads will be

I’d rather not think about it. We haven’t played well at Auburn in a long time. Bo Nix will have a field day I have a bad feeling.
I also feel like Will throws a pick 6. Hope im wrong and they shock me.

I’m guessing we go for it on 4th down instead of kicking a field goal.

quote:Its funny because we have an incredible All-American kicker, but he's missed a few this year. On the Auburn board we've had an ex AU kicker state that the snap and hold is a big part of the calculus as well. Carlson is no longer automatic. Did he forget? Or I guess he could just have the yips, IDK.

We have been plagued by slow starts this year. We can’t really afford that at Auburn.

Our run defense is top 10 in the nation fwiw

"Good Bo" to get his confidence back after the thomping he took. He needs to beat bama.

If it comes down to field goals, we’re royally fricked. That’s about all I can predict for certain with this team.

I think we’ve been playing well, but Ark kinda pushed us around, which doesn’t bode well for this matchup. Per usual, we’ll be able to move the ball, but redzone plays will determine our output. Turnovers will be key. I feel like we’ll probably post a respectable showing but lose.

Team wise, we aren’t exactly healthy at RB, and our defense looked tired against Arkansas. We are down on depth and talent at DE. At any rate, I don't ever expect to win at Auburn, even if we had the better team. I'll just stop there.

You do realize that if AU wins out, and TAMU loses to Ole Miss or LSU, then AU wins the west?
Nothing to play for?

Not saying it will happen, but it is plausible.

I'm bypassing the game for Leach's post game comments about appropriate Thanksgiving food, trash pandas, the November 19th lunar eclipse, Mac Bank's supper club or Sprees in a box.

So you talk about everyone else but you shut down about State? No balls man?

State’s is still too fragile to play in front of hostile crowd.
Y’all will intercept on our first possession and score so 7-0 right out of the gate. We will go freak-out mode and only pass the ball which will lead to 3 straight 3 and outs. Somewhere around the 7 minute mark of 2nd Q our team will finally wake the frick up and realize there’s a game that day. We finally score right before half time but down 21-7. 3Q we move the ball but stall in the red zone. Y’all are up 28-7 going into 4Q when our hair catches fire and we score 2 TDs but y’all add another to finish 34-21’ish.

Yeah, all Auburn has left is a shot at the SEC Championship.

Looks like soft coverage and rushing the QB seems to be the recipe for solving air raids. Just wondering if Mason needs any help figuring it out?

My bad. Auburn still has something to play for

Yeah that’s a big “if” with the way Auburn looked against A&M last week
