Can't find anything on it outside of TMZ... hoping they're mistaken on it.
A genuinely good person - dude seems to make friends wherever he goes (close to DeVonta Smith from the Bama days, really good friends with Derrick Carr now with the Raiders)

Hope he is okay. Wasn’t there a Gameday story a while back about his best friend being in a fatal car crash. He was supposed to be a passenger in that car but got sick or something?

That's good news. Just got that alert as well. At least there some good news coming out of a crash that bad. Feel terrible for the other family.

Damnit, I hope that's not true (that he was DUI). I cannot believe the stupidity of some people.
I don't care if it's a short drive and I've drank the usual amount I can without feeling anything; if that particular night I'm feeling even a little bit, I immediately hand the keys to my wife. I don't get the mentality of some folks who think they can drive like that.

His best friend in high school died in a car accident. You would think he would have been smarter. Just terrible all around.
