Nakobe Dean is like a Roquan Smith clone. Dudes going to be a menace on Sundays.

And none of the three made the SEC Defensive Player of the Week. That was Nolan Smith.

Zakoby McClain didn’t grade high after a 14 tackle, 2 sack game?

I hope McClain is a senior and he grades into the NFL next year.

He is and he's the heart and soul of our defense this year.
As for the NFL, he's a bit undersized but he's just such a damn gamer he'll find a spot.

Our highest rated defender was Colby Wooden, go figure.

Almost half the conference was on a bye, but it's no less impressive. Uga's LBs were awesome last weekend

Oh, there's no doubt. I was just curious if that was season to date. I would love to see metrics per position like this season to date in the conference.

Kirby and Co have built an elite D. If they don't read their own headlines, they'll be completely unbeatable on that side of the ball.

I love Nakobe Dean being the captain of this defense. His is a relentless worker, a film junkie and he’s also a team leader. He has a lot of Roquan’s traits and abilities diagnosing a play quickly, getting through the wash, etc. but he does not have Roquan’s speed. Roquan ran a 4.51. Not sure the next time we see another ILB like Roquan Smith at UGA.

We have been spoiled. Our last 3 middle backers have been absolute beasts. The often overlooked Monty Rice was a beast himself. That said, I think Nakobe Dean ends up being a damn good pro.

10 years ago. Not really anymore. Plenty of productive LBs in the NFL now about his size, and that have comparable skill sets

Georgia has some damn dudes on their defense. It's crazy how dominant they are given this era of college football.

And just when you think they can’t get graded any higher, in walks Missouri!

Ro was not a top 100 NFL player this year LOL. I think you can argue he’s the best ILB in the NFL this year and if not definitely top 3
