Nothing but positive movement on both sides of the ball... that’s turning into W’s.... that’ll turn into 4-5 stars committing.... buckle up!

That's referred to as coaching up.....something that Gus had locked up in a broom closet.

That's not true. He coached up, in his own way.

He simply sought to mold every team to his vision and what he had in mind. It just didn't include taking a good inventory and then making best use of what he had. Gus opposed putting forth a plan based on collective strengths in favor of finding the few who could do what he wanted. It was narrow in focus. Which became not only well known but easily recognized and hence (more) easily planned for.

It's not like he didn't try... it was what he tried.

Well said!

And I will just add: Part of coaching UP is making adjustments in ALL aspects, especially when things aren’t working. Sometimes, guys are just better in other spots and areas. I mean, every single person in this world is unique in their own way, just gotta find it!

There were things that Gus was really good at. But there is one key that Hars seems to have that Gus did not and that is AWARENESS. Harsin seems to be aware of everything around him. You can hear it in all his press conferences.

Btw, he seemed to be a little under the weather at his presser last night.

There is no doubt this team looks better than it did a few weeks ago. Love seeing that. Mistakes are not lingering. I expect us to beat ole miss every year and we did. Same fir State.

Great challenge next week. Harsin also has the guys playing well on the road which is a huge seal right now.

I usually can't stand to listen to coach interviews because you get the usual elementary-level coach-speak.
Hearing Harsin in his interviews is such a breath of fresh air.

I think the AU beat has started to slowly understand and adjust to Harsin in terms of how to communicate with him.

When the media speaks his language, feels like he turns into an open book. Ask him about a player game performance you get meh, ask him how the player performed Sun-Fri and how it impacted Saturday and he'll write you an epic novel

Its so nice watching Brahms bark out line call adjustments, and Nix being able to audible based on what he sees. We haven’t done that in a long time. People give Bobo grief but he ripped it up on O at UGA and as HC at CSU. If he has the jimmies and the joes he’s really good schematically. Great QB coach too.

And Mason and his group holding Ole Miss to 20?
