The Gator Standard? The program has been dead for years and years. So many coaches so many flops.A lot of laughs though. And what about that so called Gator standard? Multiple murderers on the same team, no player discipline at all, a coach who slept fast and took on a frat house, another now disgraced NFL coach who bawled like a 2 year old who had just had his teddy bear snatched away every time he lost and developed heath issues when his win/loss record wasn’t looking good. Another coach who lied about death threats when his seat was heating up, the Pell years with a record setting 104 NCAA violations and best of all that high Gator standard of losing to a then lower division Ga Southern team on your own field. An underperforming Ga S team that left 19 players back home in Statesboro - many who were starters. The Gator Standard?? Ha ha

My hobby is attending UGA sporting events. Haven’t missed the cocktail party since the late 70s. I’ve seen it all and don’t mind reminding the Gators of their “rich” history. Especially when one of them starts thumping his chest and talking about some faux “Gator Standard”

Thank you. That makes things much easier. Everyone knows the way to keep Gators off your lawn is to put up goalposts. And I didn’t even have to do that to move you off.

Actually-he did a good job at State considering how hard it is to get the athletes Bama, Georgia, LSU, Florida seals up.
When he was focused only on the job at hand-it was a pretty good run until the last year when he mailed it in knowing he was headed to Florida.

the "gator standard" is about as standard as the georgia standard. we're just in a 10 year run while georgia is in a 40 year run.
