You will not find two better teams on Earth than Texas and Oklahoma.

I think the teams voting 14-0 in favor (even the aggies voted near unanimously) and the fact that it will be 2025 at the latest is pretty telling that they're eventually joining the SEC. It's purely a money grab first, and everything else coming second.
