Negabarners, you have enough threads to bash Bo. I come here to praise Bo, he has beaten Oregon, Bama, LSU on the road, TAMU.
PAM: Bo Nix, who has started 30 consecutive Auburn games, is the most maligned quarterback in my experience. His mechanics and footwork are criticized by those who do not know what they are talking about. His arm strength, his judgment and even his facial expressions are questioned. He is ridiculed on social media by men and women twice his age. Receivers drop passes, and he is criticized for supposedly throwing the ball too hard. Today it is his body language. There is nothing normal about what he and – by extension – his family endure. Nix will be Auburn’s starting quarterback unless his coaches decide he will not be. The only thing the never-ending vitriol and amateur evaluation does is create an atmosphere of negativity around a college football player who works incredibly hard and has a deep love for Auburn University. Really, it has reached the point of absurdity.

My buddy is convinced Bo will never play a down in the NFL. I have a big bet with him on it.

My only real criticism of Bo isn't his fault: he was overrated by recruiting services.
As much as his play has frequently been frustrating to watch, he (with help from his teammates) has produced some genuinely thrilling moments.
I know that the rapid decline of LSU will ultimately diminish the accomplishment of finally beating them in Red Stick, but our offensive output in that game was almost all Bo. Everyone talks about his wild scrambles, but it was his tough run for the 2nd TD that stuck in my memory. That play was the first time I truly felt we had a chance to break the jinx.
Love him or hate him, he's our #1 guy this year, and will likely be #1 next year as well.

I didn't know being a hard worker, good dude, and a love for AU were metrics for playing QB.
ETA
Some of you confuse criticism of the starting QB for a personal attack. They are not the same.

Lets go beat the hogs on the road. Who is with me? I will be there. It has always been a fun road game, and as of late we have owned them. Get behind Bo and the rest of the team. They lay it out there every week. There is no quit in this team. As an alumni that is all that you can ask for. I don't watch for wins only, I watch to be proud to be as an Auburn fan and Alumni. I grew up in Arkansas, and sure do love to beat them. WDE

Agree there is no quit even last week they fought until the last second.

I am a Nix supporter. Not to the death but I think he is our best option and I am really pulling for him
Saying that, I dont think he will ever play in the NFL

I bet most haters don’t even really watch the games, they just check the stats and then complain about it.

Judging by their stat argument I think you’re barking up the right tree.

I'm all in. Love me some Bo Nix. Kid has the heart of a lion and the guts of a thief. He is not the problem. He's going to win us a game or two against teams we're not supposed to beat this year. War Bo Nix!

Well it’s interesting because Phillip has profited a lot on posters online bitching about everything.
You can’t have it both ways Phillip and then bash those who have given you a good income.
Denounce any ownership in any social media sports board sites and the. Publish that piece. I don’t necessarily disagree with some of your points but you sir are a hypocrite.
I like Bo and appreciate his love for Auburn. However, some of our complaints of his footwork and pocket presence has been echoed by actual professionals who do know what they are talking about. So kindly go frick yourself.
Also, I’m in for Bo no matter if he starts or not.

100% spot on. It’s really weird how much hate and criticism he gets. None of us think he is awesome.

Always do and when I have sometimes discussed some of his deficiencies it doesn’t mean I don’t support him or the team. I hope he succeeds each and every game he plays. I think he is one hell of a kid and gamer. I hope his results catch up to his heart.

What did he say in that interview to make PAM give that face?

He was asked about the direction of the program and basically said "you know the route you have to go" meaning you got to fire the coach.
