I think a good Auburn team really gives us fits today. Luckily Auburn is just not that good. Don’t want to discredit our win, holding AU to 10 and scoring 34, covering the spread is a hell of a win. Lots to work on. We weathered the storm of JHS and coming out a little flat, but game was never much in doubt.
I still would like Monken to be a little less predictable on 1st down, as we were in that 1st quarter. But he learned and we hit McConkey on that bomb on 1st down.

JT needs to get in and get some rhythm. I love stet but he’s not next level for us

Well if we are to believe the CBS crew, Smart may not play Daniels even if he's healthy in the next week or two. Sounds like they're drumming up a Fromm/Fields situation.
Actually, though, if that were to happen and I'm Daniels, I'm going right into the portal at the end of the season.
If Daniels is going to keep sitting for more than another game or so, he's going to want to start someplace for sure next season to prove he's healthy and get his street cred back for the draft.
If I'm Stetson, I'm figuring, well I could just stay in Athens yet another year...'cause that's more to look forward to than selling insurance in south Georgia after my college glory days are over.

Sports talking heads need to drum up something to talk about beyond "Georgia wins again, can't wait until they play Alabama". That just doesn't generate ratings/clicks.

First off JT is hurt if you believe our head coach. 2nd this is stetsons last year. If JT is hurt, then what’s the point of going to transfer portal?

You sure about that? He redshirted at UGA in 2017, played at NJCAA level in 2018, played at UGA in 2019, 2020, 2021. But 2020 was a freebie year. So seems that technically, he could return.
Anyway, my point is: JT has a strong reason to play another year somewhere next season IF he doesn't get to start playing within the next couple of games, and he needs to get back in gear if he's going to declare this winter. I was mentioning this in response to those who are claiming that Kirby is going to just go with Stetson for the remainder of the season.

I know you and rig are talking shite about the D tongue in cheek…but, we have gotten kind of spoiled with them manhandling people this year. Giving up a rushing touchdown didn’t seem real.

If their receivers were worth a shite, it would have been a much more interesting game. Bo threw a ton of passes that were on the money that the receivers flat-out dropped. The final score definitely looks a lot better than how the defense performed.

Technically, both Stetson and JT can come back next year.
