Is it possible for Kentucky to win the SEC West, but Georgia makes the playoffs over them?

Say Kentucky only loses to Louisville, and Georgia only loses to Kentucky. Kentucky looks terrible in all their games and only wins due to dumb luck.

Kentucky then beats Georgia and wins the SEC West. Then they get blown out by Bama in the championship game.

Would Georgia jump Kentucky into the playoffs in that scenario?

Actually, it's not possible for Kentucky to win the SEC West, period. (I couldn't resist.)

So they're moving Kentucky to the West so Auburn can have a year in the East without Bama?

Kentucky can not win the West and I am 100% confident on that for multiple reason. But I’ll stare the obvious one first and inform you that Kentucky is in the East. But for shits and giggles, Kentucky wouldn’t win the west anyways if they was. They would finish 5th in the west if they was to play the west.

Kentucky has about as much of a chance as Vanderbilt at winning the West.

If Kentucky wins the SEC West, that’d be one hell of an accomplishment.
