UK won it's last national title in basketball in New Orleans
Okay, that really doesn't answer, so I'll go with secrant was founded by a Louisianan.

A lot of my wife's family is from Baton Rouge and of all of my family on her side, they were by far the most warm and welcoming. Cheerful people, great food, and incredibly fun culture.

Same here including Metairie and Nawlins. I guess in some ways I'm half cajun?

Yeah well, although she moved to Kentwood when she was like 3, they were there a short time before moving to New York trying to get her on the Mickey Mouse club show. She didn't get the gig and moved back to Mississippi and even went to High School in McComb
