What ever you think of him, he’s an absolute gamer. Left everything he had out there and looked damn good doing it. Felt like I was watching fricking pat mahomes

We won that game because Nix, as Les would have said, had a want.

Good for him.

Being benched certainly seemed to get his attention.

Dude looked like Johnny Manziel at times. He played his arse off.

Props to Shenker as well. Aside from one bad drop, he balled out too. Had some nice blocks.

He did but only because he had to. There were very few pockets for him to step into unfortunately. That has to be fixed somehow.

He absolutely balled out tonight and he didn’t get much help. He’s a gamer if there ever was one

Bo did run more to fill in for Tank but what on the work ethic? He has never had a problem there

What he did tonight was literally what y’all have been bitching about for a whole week.
23-44 (50% area completion percentage) and 1 passing TD yet now y’all finally see he hasn’t had help. Like just now y’all Einstein’s just realized that. Amazing. If y’all think he can be Johnny Houdini every game think again. Ls will come. I still guarantee to you that he is the best QB on our roster and has been since 2019.

The talent has always been there. Tonight reemphasized that. Honestly it all falls on Gus’s shite arse coaching and I hate that for the kid.

I hope Harsin can develop him as much as possible bc the kid has the fricking heart of a lion. I think it’s safe to say there will be no further QB controversy. We riding or dying with Bo and I’m ok with that.

Also, start Hunter. He’s got same mentality as Bo.

QB controversy
Was our own making... that and a milquetoast media/press.

I like what Harsin's doing with giving TJ playing time. It's the fricking SEC West and playing an injured QB because you have to is what killed Sean White's season. I expect to see both QB's every week and it not being a bad thing as long as they can handle the pressure. It's the best thing every backup hopes for and so much than getting thrown in unprepared.

A lot of that was not trash talking......plays well on TV where you can't hear .....If you ever can ....get down on the field and actually listen.

It seems the threat of losing the starting job ignited a spark. He was playing possessed.

Nix needed that worse than anything. Now if we can just get the OL to step it up!

Except for when you lose your lone QB like Texas did in their only playoff NC game.

And it's bit us more than once.

From what I understand Finley’s drive was pre planned. Given that Harsin didn’t recruit Nix and doesn’t have to show loyalty to anybody maybe that was to dissuade second thoughts. Tape doesn’t lie though it’s clear this is Nix’s team. Finley is as good of a backup as there is in the SEC, but Nix has played unphased on the road twice now in front of rambunctious crowd and needs to be the guy getting the quality game week reps.

Nix kills me though. He looked AWFUL in the first quarter. Pretty much worse than he’s ever played but found a way to turn it around so props to him.
