He has never complained or made excuses for being beat out by Tua. He is a class act and a good example for other kids

It wasn't that he didn't complain. It was the way he put his head down and went to work and got better despite being benched. Then when his number was called, he was ready. Jalen Hurts' heart is so big, that Saban got choked up on tv while discussing him.

Too bad Devonta can’t shake Diggs at all. They should probably consider running the football. Down 13…3rd quarter…what’s the rush?

That’s called poise if I remember correctly. Seems like I heard somewhere before that he has some. Poise is good stuff. May be the most important trait in a QB. Hos poise may have taken a pause tonight.

Great athlete, great kid, fantastic leader. But unfortunately, just not a very accurate passer. At least not by NFL standards.

I agree. In college he could hit “open” receivers and if all else failed … tuck it and run. Doesn’t work in NFL!

To be determined. Still a young player and one bad game doesn't make or break a career. This is the NFL, he can and will have good games and bad games.

If you just looked at his stats you'd think he had a decent game, over 300 yards and 2 TDs, 23 of 33. However this was a game where stats don't tell the whole story.

2 td's and 2 picks is a wash, he made some plays but not at the right times and when he did it was too little too late. But he will have better games and probably worse too.
