Nah. We are still here.

I am sure to always come and take my lumps the morning after a game like that on this forum because I hate the “Aggies are scared” fake narrative.

The entitlement of that fan base is fricking absurd considering they have accomplished absolutely nothing in modern day football. They are like the shitfaced 150 pound guy trying to fight people at a bar

Imagine giving a coach 75mm guaranteed, then giving him an extension after year 4 and 8.5mm year with no buyout, after winning…

Then bragging about it.

My family is friends with the guy who paid most of Jimbo’s increase. He said it was worth it to stop hearing about how we haven’t had a top four finish since WW2. He is a big part of the 12th man foundation so he can spend his money how he wants.

Seriously though. A&M is the perfect example of why the 2020 season was meant to be taken with a grain of salt. But A&M wanted to believe so bad, they let go of common sense and refused to acknowledge how utterly screwed up college football was in 2020.

Losing to lowly Arkansas causes concerns. Arkansas is that bad of a program. It’s shocking.

Crumple up your little spreadsheets and toss them in the trash. Because you Runts are in for a few more arse kickings this season. Your concerns have only just begun.

Who knew giving a HC millions of dollars per year that is virtually ALL guaranteed for 10 years in spite of his performance may have a negative impact on said HCs drive and overall production as a result.

I think maybe Jimbo is just feeling safe and complacent. After all, he's won a NC. He's gotten his money. And now he's at a school where his women are unlikely to receive male attention.

At this point I'm hoping USC hires Fisher and Elko becomes HC.

I fricking love seeing CGSC melt

Truth. If big money is willing to foot the bill, let'em. They call the shots anyway. Letting Jerry handpick the disaster Chad Morris and pay his stupid arse gave him ZERO input in Pittman hire. Plus the GOB system couldn't attract anybody they wanted. It gave Yurachek to make a move that could've been career suicide, but we had no other options. Sometimes being that shitty and without options actually allows you to go outside the box and against the norm and give someone like Pittman a try. Great recruiter. Endless ties with great assistants. I really believe this was his dream job. He still sported Razorbacks gear when at his place on Hamilton. Now if we can keep Odom. Briles I'm not sold on yet. If he can he can help recruiting and let pops text him the play calls, we'll be alright.

Were at bad program. Losing to us anytime in the past 6 years at least was justification to part ways with a coach. This years team is different. And last year's but had even less depth.

Regardless, Jimbo has underachieved big time. The game was never really in question. And if KJ doesn't get hurt, it's a blowout. The fact that Pittman has done what he has in 2 years with no head coaching experience versus what Jimbo hasn't done in his years at A&M says all that needs to be said. He either has too much money or sucks as a coach. Maybe his divorced fricked him up some too. Get the man laid, hack his bank account and see if he get motivated. If he does, give his money back and keep him neck deep in some of that fine Texas splittail.

ETA-I honestly thought he'd improve y'alls program and make it more consistent. He's not Saban, but no one is.
I personally am shocked at his lack of success. I thought you guys overpaid, but didn't think it was a bad hire. Hiring a new coach is the biggest crapshoot out there. Maybe AD's will get together and quit giving these stupid high buyouts and make the contracts more performance based.

He is not a good coach. His national title is because Gus is a dumbass that couldn't see the fake punt my 5 year old called out. Blowing a 3 td lead is such a Gus thing to do.

Fisher has always been an overrated buffoon. Take away Crab Legs Winston, and he is just an ordinary 9-10 win a year coach at FSU. He's proving that every year at A&M now. His shine wore off with a 59-20 prison f*ck at the hands of Oregon in the 2014 playoffs.
