...to be the Terminator cyborg they have been in the past.

They usually crush the opponents' will early and then choke the life out of them slowly until they die a painful football death.

But a mediocre set of skill players at Florida had them hanging on for dear life and they look beatable.

This has to be troubling if you are a Tide fan.

Do they find another gear? Probably, Saban is the GOAT and has coached them up in the past, so if history is a teacher, we can assume they get stronger.

But then again.....

Even if you guys win this weekend, no one outside the state of Arkansas will give a shite.

No one outside the state really matters now does it?

doesn't take a 5 year old to see that this years offense is no where near the level of last years. Its was bound to happen eventually at some point.

This seems to be the common attitude among inbreeders.

Why are people acting like this is some shocking development? We lost tons of dudes from last year, we've looked "mortal" in plenty of seasons, championship ones (2015, 2017) and non championship ones (2014, 2019).

The fact that CNS does not appear too upset about the Florida game means he thinks things can be corrected. All the Bama fans that are ready to forfeit the Mississippi game should become Vanderbilt fans.

I like how everyone is piling up on Bama after 3 games.

Haven't you idiots learned anything over the years?

True. But at least they didn't struggle to beat a team that struggled with Georgia Tech.

Also, 1980.

Yep. Sark took too much of Alabama's coaching staff. Y'all needed some time to recoup.

Saban's just looking forward to the Texas matchup. Can't blame him.

Clemson has a putrid offense.

Florida is a top 5 team.

Therefore

Bama > UGA

6 National Championships under Nick Saban and only 2 of them were undefeated seasons.

Well see how good Florida is. But thus far Alabama has started out the season against 2 P5 teams and only 1 cupcake(although Miami being ranked was a joke).

They got work to do, but they can improve. The talent is there, the bigger worry is we have 1 game before Ole Miss, who gave the defense troubles last year. And then that game is followed by A&M. So 2 more ranked teams in the next 3 weeks.

Still, if they can win at least 1 of those 2 ranked games, they will still be in great position, with a good break of teams to rest up on before the end of the season.

I'm not counting them out. They could lose more, but I'm betting overall they are a pretty good team.
