Well she is in for a treat, USC is tucked neatly in by a little neighborhood known as South Central. Inglewood is just around the corner for some extra charm.

UF is Mullens dream job. He’s said that multiple times in different interviews. I seriously doubt Strickland is getting in his way because he has given Dan free reign before and there was a ton of success at MSU when he did that. I seriously doubt he’s going to leave UF.

That's exactly why he would do it. Mullen could dominate that conference.

Nobody is going to leave the SEC for another program. It would be like leaving the NFL for a college job.

If I were them, I would be going after Mario Cristobal with everything I could muster.

You're retarded.

Don't see him leaving a great situation at Oregon with NIL and Nike to go to the mess in LA.

Mullen is going where Mullen’s easiest path to the CFP is. He left the west for the easier east and isn’t beating Kirby. He would have a easier route in the PAC

Negative, Publix is everywhere in Gainesville.

This is exactly right. USC is like a Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Alabama, Auburn, and LSU, not having to play any of the others. There is talent everywhere out there with little to no competition. In the late 90s and early 2000s, USC would have been a playoff team every single year.

Mullen will probably go where his recruiting and coaching besties are not scrutinized

Maybe it's my bias showing, but why would you leave a stable UF program to go to USC in its current state and play in a pretty subpar PAC-12 conference? That conference has two teams that don't look like a complete dumpster fire. I guess if he wants to go try to be the big fish in a small pond then the move would make sense.
I agree, it's a lateral move in almost every practical way.
UF is a big brand. The appeal of bringing USC back to glory is legit, but there is nothing you can do there you can't do as easily as UF. UF might have the better 25-50 year outlook, too.
If Mullen were to leave it'd be fun, as IMO the UF search might be a more interesting opening.
