Donta has been a great player throughout his college and NFL careers. I’ve never heard a negative thing said about him.

Would love for him to join his former teammate Ha Ha and come back to Bama to coach.

Now we're kinda getting that first wave of Saban guys to the NFL retiring that had successful Pro Bowl careers. Guys like Mark Ingram, Julio... maybe another season or two at the most. A little sad for some reason.

For Hightower... what a football career. 2 national championship rings and 3 Super Bowl rings. Not many people walking around with that kind of jewelry collection.

Hightower played 9 NFL Seasons and won Super Bowl 3 times. (33% rate)

Hightower played 3 NCAA seasons and won 2 National Championship (66% rate)

I wonder if he won anything at HS level in Lewisburg.

I don't believe that Marshall County won a championship while he was there.

If y’all want to see and hear a bone crushing hit, take a look back at his freshman year vs LSU. 1rst play of the game, watch him hit the fullback. It’s so nasty

He was insanely good his freshman year with unlimited future; then that dumbass Arkansas OL deliberately mutilated his knee.

Everyone remembers the Malcom Bulter pick but no one ever talks about him stopping Lynch from scoring at the goal line

One of my favorite Hightower plays was from the 2011 LSU regular season game, right before the half when he stuffed the LSU rb on 2nd and goal from the 2 yard line with 8 seconds left to force a field goal. They showed a great zoomed in slow motion replay of it, and its just perfect technique MLB play. Every coach should show that clip to their inside LBers. I don't care if it was low-scoring, that game was one of the most intense games I've ever watched.

Here is the play I am referring to, and the slow mo replays that follow.

Fluker looks like an absolute beast now. Even if he doesn't make it back to the NFL, maybe he should consider the WWE

Lot of interesting transactions going on in the nfl.

Tua signed 1 year deal. Which isn't a sign that the team wants him. Though I understand the concern.

Irv Smith Jr signs deal with Bengals. Good place for him. Imagine he'll be getting more receptions.

Te Mike Gesieki signs with Patriots. Thought he would be better in Miami but wasn't that impressed with him. Doubt he'll help Mac.

Mack Wilson also re-signed with the Pat's. Good for him.

Houston let's Dallas have Cooks for a 23 5th round pick and a 24 6th rd pick. Getting rid of receivers before you draft a qb? Hmm

Pat's did sign juju so that should help Mac. Released db Jalen Mills.

Leonard Fournette released.

Not sure what this means. Miami exercised Tua's fifth year option... guaranteeing him around $23 million for the 2024 season...so he's tied to them for the next 2 seasons at least and if he has a solid, injury free season this year, they likely give him a long term contract.

49’ers have given up on Trey Lance. Purdue is the starter and Lance battles Darnold for back up.

49’ers Lance won’t be the starter.
