The West is actually very open this year which is shocking...well except for Bama. They're still winning the West unless they shoot themselves in the foot against the Aggies or something

I’m am sure there will be a few idiots who run with this, but until Kirby gets over the hump and actually beats Saban, no legitimate list can ever have Georgia above Alabama.

Idk lol Auburn's weird man, one season

Usually in our second seasons with new coaches after Dye was fired, we go in dry on the SEC and shock everyone. Gus(NC appearance first season) and Terry Bowden(1 loss in first 2 seasons).

Swapped Auburn and Ole Miss and your spot on. Ole Miss is top 3 easy.

Akron was and may be the worst team in football. I love what I saw with Auburn but I am not moving us due to that performance

Lets talk after week 3 and I will give you my professional rankings

I love week 1 over reactions. I stand by my pre season prediction that Auburn will be lucky to win a conference game.

Auburn is itself a nickname

Don’t forget that auburn was originally named East Alabama Male College
Then the Agricultural and Mechanical College of Alabama
Then renamed Alabama Polytechnic Institute

They didn’t change to the nickname Auburn until 1960

A&M is too high. Injuries at CB are definitely a problem with Alabama coming up on the schedule. I'm actually not too worried about King - he definitely is willing to make throws Mond would never attempt, and he and the WR's will get on the same page sooner than later. The Tennessee transfer is terrible (big surprise), so not sure what to do at that position on the OL - might need to just play the Freshman.

A&M has some younger talent, but really missed starters out on suspension and a lot of players on defense were just plain missing.

Just for perspective, here are some scores from last season:

58 Western Michigan
13 Akron

69 Kent State
35 Akron

56 Buffalo
7 Akron

Wonder why you left this one off the list?

Akron 31
Bowling Green 3

I thought Akron was the worst team I have seen AU play in like a decade. Alabama State will at least have a couple guys that can run.

Bowling Green was winless last year

They are 10-39 since 2016

Seriously, even Vandy would have beat Akron by 35+
