I spend a lot of time in SEC country so I know Oklahoma will fit in pretty well culturally. I’ll see if other OU fans agree. If Texas wasn’t in Austin I think they would too. Most Universities are pretty liberal but Austin is San Francisco lite.

Not all of use are homephobes, so please take this with a grain of salt. That being said, you're an arrogant jackass, so I look forward to watching you be humbled.

And that is why they will struggle. I picture them doing this in the trenches:

We have you guys here cause you're supposed to be the "basketball" school, yet Texas is going in as the #1 team in the country. We don't need kentucky SANKY!

I quoted just so people would see how dumb you are. That liberal arts degree is working well for you.

Bless your heart. Kentucky is undefeated v Texas in basketball. Looking forward to adding two new bitches to our stable. We're 23-10 all time v Kansas, your precious Big 12 powerhouse. They're our bitch and you will be soon enough. Enjoy!

Hate to break it to you, but you guys are about to lose to a blue blood basketball team on a consistent basis and lose to a mid-tier SEC football any time you match up with them. Sucks to be you

Texas Flagship. This is me. I’m respectful and have ties to multiple southeastern states. Yes, it is a strange position to be in. I love OU above all others but I have and show respect to other fans and teams. I’ve waited a life time for OU to go to the SEC. Only team I despise is Texas

I'm not reading past the first page of this shite. Kentucky will bust you in the mouth newbies.. Go through an sec season getting pounded on and see what you have to play with in week 8. You might be begging the AAC to let you in with Tech and SMU.

I suspect it is more like, The SEC, "I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve." Their program has too much history and money to stay down as long as they have. This is the spark.

Don't flatter yourself. We know tSEC much better than you two pledges do. Oklahoma has some promise once they adapt to our style of play (which they will). Your program will do well. Texas is a pretender who tells about their history while doing nothing with their present. Not concerned about them in the least bit. You are not in the Big 12 Next. You are in the Big Leagues.

Maybe you do but I have followed football for about 60 years. Texas is always at the top or near the top for athletic revenue. That was before this. They will be fine in the SEC, MISSOURI AND THE aggies have done fine in the SEC and so will Texas,
