Our record against Bama is basically the same as Vanderbilts record against Texas. Neither really matter because we haven’t played that much.. But it is still fun to talk about.. both ways.

See the problem with that though, is that in Alabama's case for example, the majority of those wins were in a period from 1902-1922, and then again centered around the 70s.
Nobody actually gives a shite about a handful of losses from 50 to 100 years ago.
That's an attempt at some Michigan-style coping, and it just sounds sort of sad.
