I would personally let A&M decide if they want UT in.

They've been loyal to the SEC for a time now.

Why? UT was in the SEC for almost 80 years before A&M joined.

Then they would understand that we make these decisions together as a conference. Not just one school given special privileges.

Yeah because they have proven themselves to be such a stable & logical group of people the last 96 hours.

As opposed to the Longhorns that convinced themselves for the past 10 years that the SEC was not leading athletic conference in the nation.

It’s gonna be fun to whip that longhorn arse.

We wouldn’t get in if it was up to those folks. I’m curious what Jimbos recruiting pitch will be now. “Come play in this fossilized offense & enjoy this shitty depressing town”. He might have to resort to letting recruits run trains on his wife like at Florida State.

Most Longhorns are of the mind that the SEC is the most competitive group of cfb teams over the past 10 years.

Most logical Texas fans knew the SEC was the dominant athletic conference, wasn't our decision to make. We rolled with it, instead of crying in the corner like y'all Brazos County pussies.

What does that mean? Loyal? Like they haven’t jumped ship from the best conference?

It’s really all about recruiting, OU cited recruiting as one of the main reasons, bc their early kickoff times (11 ams) made it difficult, they feel moving to the SEC, they’ll get all the 5 stars they missed on bc they were in the big 12, I get that, plus they are actually a good fan base, very SEC type crowd

But Texas, they did it 15 mins before Jimbo spoke and he didn’t know, and the SEC commish knew, the SEC didn’t exactly help get us into the playoffs last year, that seems petty, our boys go 9-1 in all SEC play, barely missed the conference, and have 100’s of Texas people tweeting at them they are scared of Texas, damn give them some respect

Aside from that, both are good adds, Texas is assuming our recruiting is going to fall out of the top 15 back down to like 25 like we did in the big 12, that’s why they are singing this as a victory, “we get to pick which Texas he player we want like Mack did”, and in reality, that’s not going to happen, so us Ags just got to weather this morale victory they are on, truth is, they never won a Championship without an elite QB (Vince or Colt), and they are still stuck there, for example, it would be like Texas A&M thinking that it would take the 2nd coming of Johnny Football to win a NC, they are lost trying to find their next Vince/Colt instead of fielding a complete team and winning with a Mac Jones type QB, you’ll never see OU or Texas field a 3 star QB bc of that

As an LSU fan, you certainly are not an intelligent fan.

Recruiting. You do what you have to do. That’s how we know y’all aren’t ready.
