Once again, they $%^^& up
Aggy was a recipient or privleged and confidential information, which they allegedly disclosed (leaked) to an unauthorized party, in the hope that the firestorm would kill the deal.
In doing so, they would have breached the confidentiality clause in the various SEC Agreements. That Breach of Contract would open aggy up to litigation should their Breach result in monetary damages to the SEC and its member schools.
If aggy's antics were successful in killing the deal ...
Assuming the benefit was ~ $10 Million/year to each of the SEC members, potential damages of ~ $160M/yr would represent a damage claim approaching $1 Billion, that's with a "B".
The Breach claim would far surpass any claim on violating a "gentleman's agreement."
Time to "... just shup up and take it."

The new narrative is that someone at aTm knew it was going down but not the AD apparently? 
I think they realized how lame they look for being fooled. Again. Texas continues to man handle them behind the scenes. If I were them I would contact the ACC or Big 10. They’ll be the only Texas school there which is what they want.
