Holy shite I had forgotten about this. Thanks for the reminder.

They’re pathetic. Texas isn’t even in the conference yet and Aggies are already crying about how the mean ole burnt orange run it now

There will be dead bodies before the REC ever allows that to happen.

ESPN runs the SEC. They like Texas better than Bama.

Apparently they are planning to change the LHN office in Austin into an SECN office already.

Always starts with a trickle.

Everyone already watches SEC football in those locations

If they did, then adding OU and tu wouldn’t equate to money. Sweet summer child you’re a little slow, aren’t you?

Watching the Horns learn about the REC is going to be almost as satisfying as watching F-22 guys treat F-15 guys like F-15 guys used to treat everybody else!!

ESPN loves burnt orange more than any color. There is a reason that that A&M fans call them ESiPN. Nobody in the SEC has a say anymore after selling their soul to ESPN

You will figure it out soon enough, and then be wondering how it happened.

ESPN owns the SEC? This is going to be fun. The Rant will return to its good old days of stupid discourse & far less trolling. And FWIW, the SEC has at a minimum 4-5 schools who can tell UT to stuff it. This is not the old SWC or the BIG 12.

May I suggest moving the SEC Offices to George West, Texas? It's the county seat of Live Oak County!

aTm and Mizzou should be kicked out of the SEC.

Texas and Oklahome should NOT be invited.

Clemson, Miami, FSU, and Louisville should be added.

but Bama aint got shite on Texas when it comes to politics and power.

I’ll need you to explain why Bama has been a superior program since the late 1800s then.

Aggies or Longhorns, fricking tons of Texans are the most arrogant people in the country. Being a Texan isn’t a personality trait. You can have your black tie dinners with aristocrats and politicians and we will continue to kick your teeth in on the gridiron. We simple Alabamians are good at that, we’ll leave the cocktail parties and superpacs to the Texans.

Wow, you do realize that every member of the SEC has the power to just leave the conference one day and join another the next.

If they try to move the SEC offices to Texas, I can imagine all 10 of the founding members saying "goodbye" and starting a new conference.

or just say no to the move.

It is different in the SEC, no GOR, no legal ties, it is just a group of schools that want to be together, but can at any time leave.

The Commissioner of the SEC realizes that, and Texas AM should too.

There is no power shift because the power is not centralized.
